Tulips In The Sky is my first creation using two of my favorite photograph subjects - yes, the sky and flowers! I began being “drawn” to taking photographs of the sky several years ago and well before I started my photography business! Yes, if you ever saw a lady hanging out the passenger side of a car taking photographs, it could have easily been me! This creation, obviously, is a merge of two of my photographs. The background is a sky vista which I only slightly digitally enhanced and placed a vignette around. The top image is a photograph I took in my dining room, then digitally painted to give it texture and finally enhanced to gain more detail.
God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye. I continue to grow, both in my interests and skills and am now offering abstract and even digital artwork that are created totally through manipulations in a variety of artistic...
