Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I took the original photograph from our hotel room in Edinburgh a few years ago as we toured England. The Scott Monument honors the writer Sir Walter Scott and is the tallest monument that honors a writer in the world. Climb its 287 steps to see SPECTACULAR views of Edinburgh! I was so moved by the beauty that I went to bed late (VERY LATE) and awoke very early (like 3 am) just to watch the skylines change with nature's own light! I took my original photograph through a digital painting process to reach this rendering.

More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
