One Hot Robin is a scene I captured of a robin and a sparrow in one of our back gardens on a hot summer day when the temperatures were in the range of 100 to 103 heat index here in the midwest. Ouch! These temperatures lead me to create this using the hot colors for the background. While this is indeed a photograph, I obviously did extensive digital manipulation to reach this rendering.

God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
