Cardinal #4 is an older photograph pulled from my archives. I don't save ALL my photographs but I still have well over ten thousand and most of which were saved for UNKNOWN reasons. So, you can understand how happy I become when I stumble upon one and its purpose! This photograph of a male cardinal was taken in one of our back gardens with the backdrop of a Cherry Parfait tea rose and gayfeathers (the lavender flowers). To achieve this rendering, I digitally enhanced and manipulated the photograph.

God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
