Blue Jay in the Snow is a scene I captured in our back yard a few years ago. Blue Jays are pretty much full time residents at our house, but this scene - once in a lifetime (at least thus far)! And no, I did not place the peanut there; we have a peanut ring feeder that the blue jays (woodpeckers & wrens) love and the blue jay grabbed one and took it to the snow covered tree stump. I achieved this rendering by digitally enhancing my photograph.

God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
