Spring Flowers Stir My Soul is something that expresses my feelings about the season of spring which is so very anticipated here in the midwest. The warmth and flowers that eventually arrive truly lifts my spirits and stirs my soul! I took my original photograph at a local garden and did extensive digital manipulation to it, took it through a digital paint process, more manipulation and then added text via mixed media.
God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye. I continue to grow, both in my interests and skills and am now offering abstract and even digital artwork that are created totally through manipulations in a variety of artistic...
