Description
Psychedelic Dahlia was created from my original photograph taken in Mackinac Island while vacationing a couple years ago. After spending some time listening to P. Allen Smith, we were happy to take a Proven Winners garden tour and saw countless jaw-dropping beautiful gardens! This one, obviously, I had lots of fun with! I took my photograph through the normal corrective process, two digital paint processes, then mixed media to add a mask, and then changed the resulting colors. It reminds me of the flower power of the sixties (granted I was only a child - LOL)!
