My Quiet Place is a vista I captured at a local park recently. Oh to imagine what all could be accomplished in this peaceful setting! I did take the liberty of changing the appearance of the individual sitting here. To achieve this painterly rendering of my photograph I also digitally enhanced it, put it through a digital paint process and, as usual, made adjustments within that program.

God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
