Maui Sunset and Sailboat is a photograph I captured while touring Hawaii in 2008. Of the three islands we toured, Maui was the final stop and most relaxing, at least for us anyway. I don't know about you, but when such a breathtaking vista as this is in front of me, I cannot turn my back to it. Only minimal digital manipulating was done to accomplish this rendering.

God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
