Lily Pond is a photograph I took at Smith Gardens in Oakwood, Ohio. I did some creative digital editing to it to reach this rendering appearing as if it has been painted. In the art world, the technique is known as a painterly. In my shop, I have this style of artwork in my Paintique Collection, and I invite you to take a look!

God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
