Description
That's a juvenile Blue Jay on the right impatiently waiting to be fed! I've been taking photographs of these "residents" in our back gardens for about six years and this is the only time I've seen this specific interaction. I've seen it countless times with smaller birds, so I feel very fortunate to have captured this! To achieve this rendering I did some light digital manipulating to my photograph and then, via mixed media, added a light mask to finish it off!
