Description
In my most humble opinion, a visit to Maui isn't complete without seeing Haleakala National Park! With an elevation of approximately 10,000 feet, it is Maui's highest peak. With that said, I strongly recommend wearing slacks and a warm jacket whatever time of day you may visit because the temperature averages about 30 degrees lower than what you experience on the coast. I also highly recommend a sunrise visit where (I've been told and have seen photographs) the vista is nothing short of breathtaking!

Absolutely splendid with a mood which to me suggests the early days of creation. Wonderful work, Diane! L/F
