Grasmere Flowers is my rendering of a garden I visited while in the Lake District in England. Grasmere's fame is attributed to the poet William Wordsworth (1770-1850) as he and his wife lived at Dove Cottage, Allan Bank, the Old Rectory and finally Rydal Mount. I did extensive digital manipulation to my original, put it through a digital paint process and one more manipulation to reach this final rendering.
God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye. I continue to grow, both in my interests and skills and am now offering abstract and even digital artwork that are created totally through manipulations in a variety of artistic...
