This Blue Jays Tree Stump is actually a tree stump I picked up as I was coming home one afternoon. Most people have tree stumps totally removed from their yards when cutting down a tree, but I had something in mind for one - photo-ops for our birds! I took my photograph through the usual digital corrective process, a digital paint and then digital manipulation to adjust its light to reach this rendering.
