Blue Jay Watch Duty is a photograph I captured in our back garden in August. Having a few feeders, our birds have options to either get in line to eat or just sit to rest or watch. This blue jay appeared to be looking around; perhaps he or she (because I seriously cannot tell the difference) had a full belly. This rendering was accomplished by having lots of fun digitally manipulating my photograph.
God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye. I continue to grow, both in my interests and skills and am now offering abstract and even digital artwork that are created totally through manipulations in a variety of artistic...
