Are You Ready Yet is a photograph I took of a blue jay sitting in one of our back gardens. It sat there for several minutes and barely moved! I wondered if there might be a hawk in the area, but other birds were active in our back gardens, so that wasn't a plausible explanation. I took my photograph through the usual digital corrective process, two different digital paint processes and then countless digital manipulations.
God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye. I continue to grow, both in my interests and skills and am now offering abstract and even digital artwork that are created totally through manipulations in a variety of artistic...
