And Here I Sit is a painterly rendering (in my Paintique Collection) of a vista I captured in one of our back gardens. Fortunately the bird activity was rather quiet and this beautiful male cardinal was able to sit undisturbed for a while, giving me time to grab my camera! This image was achieved through doing extensive digital manipulation to my photograph, putting it through a digital paint process and then a bit more manipulation.
