Description
Always Praying Mantis is my rendering from my photograph of a common insect in our back gardens. The praying mantis is a friend to the gardener but not to gardens with hummingbirds. So, we make sure our hummingbird feeders are placed far away from trees, bushes, ornamental grass and the like. I did extensive digital manipulation to my original photograph, took it through a digital paint, more digital manipulation and then added the prayerful text.
